In recent years, Keswick’s gastro-culture has begun to take shape, with trendy cafes in Keswick’s downtown, such as Elpida Café and Roastery offering free-trade coffee and delicious baked goods. Local dining hotspots like Corner House Bistro and CJ Barley’s have also laid the foundation for exceptional food and service in the area; where residents don’t need to drive southward to Newmarket for an incredible dining experience. Keswick also provides residents with their local LCBO and Beer Stores options, but for the adventurous, budding sommeliers, Fellini Fine Wines allows patrons to make their own vintages for a fraction of the cost. First opened in 1978, Connor’s Music is a family-owned music store, offering music instruction and quality instruments to two generations of residents in Keswick and the surrounding area. With over 40 years of experience, this local store has grown and fostered a reputation for incredible service and expertise in every genre of music from classical piano and guitar to rock and pop, folk and bluegrass. Our favourite thing about Connor’s? Their involvement in Music in the Streets Festival – an annual, free community event that began as an unconventional recital for students at Connor’s Music and has grown to become an exciting staple in the Georgina community.

Georgina Pioneer Village
One of the area’s most well known historical attractions, Georgina Pioneer Village and Archives is a 10-acre site, home to numerous heritage buildings and grounds and interpreting the history of the area between 1850 and 1920. Visit the apothecary or blacksmith or stroll through the general store upon your visit, discover the annual Harvest Festival in September or experience an Old-Fashioned Christmas in the village. This attraction offers both self-guided and guided tours, heritage camps for kids, school visits, workshops, wedding/event venue rentals as well as an archive centre for the surrounding townships, making this the perfect place to create lifelong memories.

Orchard Beach and Country Club
Overlooking Lake Simcoe,Orchard Beach and Country Club is a stunning nine-hole golf course with a long and storied history. Dating back to 1926, it has retained its charm through the years and offers local and visiting golfers stunning lakeside views as well as a lively dining/patio area and scenic walks—the view of Cook’s Bay at the ninth hole is particularly incredible.
Claredon Beach Park
One of many parks in the Keswick community, Claredon Beach Park is a mix of stunning lakeside vistas, comfortable resting spots, extensive landscaping and a place for kids to run and play. Perfect for both young and old, the park’s beautiful footbridge and stunning views of the waterfront make this outdoor space a favourite local spot for a weekend picnic or an evening sunset walk.
Young’s Harbour Park
A long-held local institution and beloved theatre venue, the Another of our favourite parks, Young’s Harbour Parkis a great place to enjoy Lake Simcoe. It’s a quieter park than some of Keswick’s larger outdoor areas and offers visitors a small and easy boat launch point and an opportunity to cool one’s heels in the shallow shores. Serenity in a local park – now that’s something we can get behind.
