This builder was fantastic, overall the build quality was great. Naturally with a new home and the number of tradespeople involved, there will be small issues that come up. The whole team was very responsive in diagnosing and fixing anything big that was covered under the warranty, and did small touch ups whenever they could. If I buy another new build, I hope I can work with Mario, Dan, Al and Jessica again.

I had wanted to own my own place for a really long time but all the burdens and expenses of life got in the way. After years of saving, the amount that I had saved was really not enough to allow me even a basic down payment on a decent property. I couldn't believe my good fortune when I saw the Hometown Development being advertised. I drove down the first chance that I could and I was so impressed that such a new unit (with such beautiful finishes) in a nice new area was accessible to me. I could actually afford the deposit! Hometown made everything so easy for me. They gave me the paperwork, put me in touch with the mortgage officer at the bank (who was amazing!) and within 2 months I was in my new home! I was new to Canada (just year and a half) when I booked my first home with Marycroft Homes. I have no idea about any other builders but inquires with 3 other builders and saw one of their actual build house, which my friend was owning. finally I decided to book a home with Marycroft Homes. when I got a house, during PDI, I saw the workmenship of the builder and the items provided in basic price (not an upgrade) was quite better than other builders or the similar items were an upgrade option for other builder.
Also after moving into house, I found some minor issues and it was addressed very quickly (in a day or two) after logging the complaint in main office.
Really impressed with their after sale service.
After 11 months, garage door latch was stopped working and after logging the complaint, it was fixed next day afternoon.
I am really feeling happy on my decision and Marycroft's home.

We were a new immigrant family looking for housing on a limited budget. We did not expect the features that came with the house, even though the price was acceptable. We found everything we wanted in this unit: an acceptable residential space, a wonderful outdoor view, and a children’s play area. The quality of finishes and home appliances was higher than most of the new homes we had entered before. Also, the services provided over 3 years after purchase were good.

My daughter bought her first home from Marycroft Homes. It was perfect! The price was good and allowed her to purchase her first condo. The esthetics were pleasing and was completed on time. There were a lot of options for the finishings. We never had a problem with the building. The sales gentleman was knowledgeable and we would stop in just to chat about real estate!

With 2 toddlers, we needed a space to grow in, with room for everything from toys and cots to family and friends… Our Marycroft home came with an open concept, so I can see the kids playing in the family room, even when I’m busy in the kitchen. The layout of our home means ample family time, and more than enough room to grow. We were able to make simple layout changes with our builder before moving in, customizing our home for our needs. We were given a great upgrade budget, and used it to get our dream showers, a perfect way to relax after a busy “mom day.” We couldn’t imagine growing our family in any other home, and are so proud to call this our boys first, and forever home…

It has been a great experience purchasing our Marycroft Home. The salesperson was always helpful at providing us answers as it was the first time we purchased a newly built home. After we moved in we noticed a small plumbing emergency which was quickly resolved the following day. During the first year they sent out a form to go over any flaws that developed and arranged a date to come in and repair those flaws. It’s been 6 years now and we have been very happy in our Marycroft Home.
